My birthday is tomorrow which means today is the last day I will be this age. There have been times in my life when I have realized that things would change...& so I was completely aware & appreciated the moment. Some were easily recognizable like visiting my parents for the last time before the birth of my child....realizing that I wouldn't just be the child anymore...I would be a parent too the next time we met.
There are others though when I didn't have that awareness...seeing a man glance back after saying goodbye & realizing in that moment that it was truly goodbye....not until we meet again...wishing I had been more present. Every day is a gift & brings something new...never to be the same tomorrow...so always be present, cherish those around you, & simply enJOY all your moments!!
