A LOVEly day!!! Take a moment & shut your eyes. Allow your mind to picture someone you love. Feel the love spread throughout you....if you are not smiling, then you haven't tapped into the feeling yet;) Doesn't it feel yummy? Once you are there, allow that person to be replaced in your mind with a picture of you. Send yourself that same love. Now with this open heart & shimmering of love, go out into your day & see what happens. It's going to be LOVEly!!!

Trust...takes practice. There are times when fear, old thought patterns, doubts, etc. are triggered and you can be knocked off center. Control is your instant reaction so you can feel stable again...usually in trying to control a situation or another person or even just your emotions... but that will not bring you where you want to be. Be kind to yourself as you are trying to change...it's a process...you may not even realize at first what you did. Once you see that is what has happened, make a choice. Again, surrender and trust. Control is just an illusion and is not going to give you the stability you are searching for...that peace and stability comes with a new way of being...from allowing things to unfold as they will...staying in the flow. It takes practice. It is worth the effort!!! Keep up the good work!!!

I have been drawn back to the cover of a book on my shelf...The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer. It keeps jumping out at me and it has been getting more insistent as things tend to with Spirit. Starts with a whisper to get my attention...over time, if it is important, Spirit will just get louder until it feels like I am getting bonked on the head...which was this morning;)
Here it is:
"It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive..."
Although her invitation was given to another person...it spoke to my Soul...and asked am I willing to dare to dream of meeting my heart's longing? Am I willing to risk looking like a fool for all I believe in... love? my dreams? the adventure of being alive?
My Soul answered back YES!!!! What are you waiting for?!
I fought to free myself...to be on the road less traveled...and am just beginning to learn all it has to offer and am discovering who I am along the way. It is not easy...and at times, I truly wish for a map..and wonder if I am truly brave enough...daring enough to live the way I want...with heart wide open...following my Spirit...truly alive. Yet even as I wonder...I know there is no other way. This is the way I choose...the way I need to live. Life is EXTRAORDINARY...& I want to LIVE an EXTRAORDINARY life!!!

Yes...still working on TRUST today...& everyday;) When I work with Spirit for my clients, I completely surrender myself to Spirit. I open my heart, Soul, & body to be used however Spirit wishes for my highest level of service for the highest good of the person before me. I completely surrender how that will look & how that will work. I have complete TRUST that it will....& it does. It is an AMAZING peaceful feeling...one that I want in all areas of my life.
Think about the areas in your life that you would like to find some peace...release the need to control...& surrender & trust that it will work out. This doesn't mean that you just sit back & do nothing...it just means that you are allowing the space for Spirit to move you or inspire you into action. Pick something today to surrender...hand it over to Spirit & TRUST. Remember to be kind to yourself as you do....sometimes you'll hand it over only to turn around & grab it back. That's ok. Just surrender it again until it sticks:)
