I grabbed my shovel & headed off to the mountain that stood between my car & the road...knowing that I could do this...I was just going to have to find a way. Full of optimism & determination, I surveyed the task & began to shovel the first layer off. It did not take long before my wrist hurt...& out of breath..I wondered how was I ever going to accomplish this!!! It was then that my thoughts started to quickly spiral...I'm not strong enough!, what was I thinking?!, how did I get to be here...alone...to tackle this mountain?! I quickly realized that this line of thinking was not going to be productive in the removal of the SNOW. I took some deep breaths...reaffirmed that I could in fact do this. If it took me all week, so be it!!! Feeling better & back to original snow Goddess mode, I launched a couple more shovelfuls of snow...only to see the snow go flying through the air along with the end of my shovel!!! With handle still in hand, I started to laugh...& that is when a man, a shovel wielding angel, blessed me with my miracle...snow removal task completed.
What mountains are you trying to tackle in your life?...that bring up your pain, fears, anger? Keep positive...keep going...& BELIEVE!!! You never know what miracle is coming...delivered to you as inspiration, as strength when you don't think you have any left...or perhaps by an angel placed in your path at just the right moment. Life is truly AMAZING!!
