Today is my birthday!!! Celebrate with me ...by opening your gift of today with a smile on your face...dance, be silly, laugh until you cry, talk to a stranger (yes, I'm a Gem & we talk to everyone...strangers are just friends we haven't met yet;)), eat dessert before each meal (except for breakfast which is going to be brownies~YUM!!!:)), blow bubbles, go for a walk...with a water view if possible, share YOU & most importantly, do it all with heart w i d e open!!! What a perfectly magical day waiting for you!!! I am shimmering with JOY just thinking about everyone SHINING!!! What a gift!!! Thank you!!!

My birthday is tomorrow which means today is the last day I will be this age. There have been times in my life when I have realized that things would change...& so I was completely aware & appreciated the moment. Some were easily recognizable like visiting my parents for the last time before the birth of my child....realizing that I wouldn't just be the child anymore...I would be a parent too the next time we met.
There are others though when I didn't have that awareness...seeing a man glance back after saying goodbye & realizing in that moment that it was truly goodbye....not until we meet again...wishing I had been more present. Every day is a gift & brings something new...never to be the same tomorrow...so always be present, cherish those around you, & simply enJOY all your moments!!
